The rod arrived safely Friday evening! Very nice it is too - beautiful dark Payne style cane and I really love the handle and the thread work. You have a great sense of the aesthetic I must say - a very handsome rod where everything looks in place. I love the action - fast for bamboo, but beautifully smooth and progressive to my mind once fully loaded. The rod performed flawlessly. Thank you very much Brian, I will certainly enjoy your rod this season. It will be well looked after, but equally it will be fished and not kept in a cupboard!
